ANTROPOLOGIA CULTURAL

Proposta de um programa de antropologia

Esta disciplina destina-se a equacionar o contributo da «ciência do Homem» para as ciências sociais, quer introduzindo historicamente os principais desenvolvimentos metodológicos e as obras mais marcantes da reflexão antropológica, quer explorando (rompendo?) os seus limites com a sociologia, a filosofia e os estudos culturais.

Metodologia

Leitura de textos fundacionais da disciplina antropológica. Pesquisa por parte dos alunos de documentação biblio- e webgráfica.

Programa

1. Identidade e alteridade:

	a) o conceito antropológico de cultura;
	b) o conceito politológico de civilização;
	c) os grupos: estudo socio-antropológico do sistema familiar;
	d) estatuto e poder: sacralidade e tabu.

2. As culturas e a palavra:

	e) magia e mana;
	f) o ciclo, a memória, a festa;
	g) religião e cultura, piedade popular.
